Maple Run is actively seeking a beginner-friendly horse to lease or half-lease as an addition to the lesson program. We need a horse that will quietly walk, trot, and canter and jump around a 2' course. If interested, please call the farm at 908-369-2244.

Kris McLaughlin is an “L” dressage judge, who believes that the progressive, time-honored training that dressage should inspire can help any horse, regardless of breed or discipline, achieve its individual athletic potential. Her devotion to dressage grew from a well rounded background that included competition in combined training, hunters, cutting, and early gymkhanas. She is an avid believer in the physical and mental benefits of rides in the fields and trails for both dressage horse and rider, and is grateful that being an “L” graduate gives her the opportunity to share what she has learned with others who are also seeking greater harmony with their equine partners.

We have several boarders and lesson students already signed up, so it is sure to be a great day!
